Spalted Maple: 9 Pipe Stand

Once again a complex grain matrix. There is so much movement in this grain. It was a good size piece of wood and I knew if I left it whole I could get a 9 pipe stand. The trim is Gabon Ebony and Rosewood and finishes the piece to a refined look. A substantial piece. The quilted Maple base has very distinct chatoyant figuring.

Base: Figured Maple, Gabon Ebony, Rosewood

Trim: Gabon Ebony, Rosewood, and Gabon Ebony
